Split Rock Grille

Comforting for Business Lunch or Family Dinner

At first glance, “comfort food” and “business lunch” might seem like strange bedfellows. But not after you’ve eaten at the Split Rock Grille. Of course, when you have such a diverse clientele to feed, your best bet really is just what mom might have made. And why do they have a diverse clientele? Because they’re located in the Radisson Hotel Bloomington sitting smack dab between the airport and the Mall Of America!

So what qualifies as comfort food? I’ll start out with one of their most popular items, the Mini Burger Stackers. You can get them in the appetizer menu or the regular menu under Burgers but they’re yummy and a hoot. Tiny hamburgers stuck on a stick like a kabob. They are $7.25 as an appetizer or $8.50 as an entrée.

They also offer a Family Style Meal with portions to serve anywhere from 2 to 6 people. It’s basically a heaping big platter of spaghetti with piled with meatballs or sausage. Priced anywhere from $32.95 to $39.95.

The menu is also diverse. They have four Grand Entrée Salads for $9.95, three other pasta selections for $9.95, burgers for about $9, seven different sandwiches including an Open Face Pot Roast Sandwich for $10.95, and the Split Rock Entrees running from $13.95 for the Beef Pot Roast to $26.95 for the Filet Mignon. And they, of course, have a full bar to go with that steak.

You can also count on them to have kids favorites on the menu including Mac & Cheese and PB & J Sandwich. Desserts look interesting and are $5.95 to $8.95.

Split Rock Grille is located at 1700 American Blvd E in the Radisson Hotel Bloomington. They’re open Sunday - Thursday 6am - 10pm, Friday & Saturday 6am - 11pm. Phone: 952-229-5724.
